Kitchen Showroom in St Albans
BRITISH & GERMAN KITCHENS ON DISPLAY AT OUR ST ALBANS KITCHEN SHOWROOM.
Our St. Albans Kitchen Showroom
You'll find us at Horseshoe Business Park on Lye Lane, Bricket Wood, a short drive south of the city centre, with free parking right outside the door (What3Words: ///candle.cowboy.plank).
Inside, there are full working kitchen displays, not flat sample boards: handleless contemporary ranges, painted shaker designs, and precision-engineered Nobilia German kitchens you can open and try before you commit to anything.
It's where homeowners across Hertfordshire come to turn an idea they can't quite picture into a proper, costed plan. We see customers from St Albans, Harpenden, Radlett, Hatfield and Wheathampstead most weeks.
What our customers say
SOME OF OUR LATEST WORK IN THE AREA
Our St Albans designers know the local housing well, from the Victorian terraces near the centre to the 1930s semis and the rear-extension projects that are so common across Hertfordshire right now. That means practical advice from the first conversation rather than a sales script.
Black & Oak Handleless Kitchen in Harpenden
-
The new layout brings together strong contemporary finishes with natural materials to create a design that feels both striking and welcoming.
The handleless cabinetry is finished in matt black across the base units, tall units and island, giving the space a bold architectural presence. Overhead wall units in oak introduce warmth and contrast, softening the darker tones and adding balance to the overall scheme.
Worktops are in Caesarstone Darcrest, offering a deep, sophisticated surface that complements the cabinetry beautifully.
The island, which acts as the focal point of the room, is enhanced with a solid oak end panel that introduces natural warmth and visual contrast.
The appliances are by Siemens and are seamlessly integrated to maintain the clean lines of the design. A Blanco sink paired with a Quooker tap ensures everyday practicality without compromising on style.
Feature elements include pocket doors concealing the breakfast area, allowing smaller appliances to be hidden when not in use. Smoked glass cabinetry with mirrored interiors adds depth and subtle reflection, while a smoked glass door leading to the pantry continues the contemporary aesthetic.
Dark Blue & Wood Modern Kitchen in St Albans
-
The cabinetry is from our Easytouch range, finished in Fjord Blue. This contemporary shade adds colour without overpowering the space, while the handleless design keeps the look clean and streamlined.
Worktops are in 20mm Urban Concrete Quartz, introducing a subtle industrial edge that complements the blue cabinetry beautifully. The slim profile keeps the overall design light and modern, while offering durability for daily use.
Integrated Siemens appliances ensure a seamless, uncluttered appearance, supporting the kitchen’s minimalist aesthetic while delivering reliable performance.
A peninsula layout provides additional workspace along with a breakfast bar for casual dining, making it a practical feature for both cooking and socialising. Wood veneer hub wall panels in oak add warmth and texture, softening the contemporary finishes and creating visual interest within the extension.
In addition to the kitchen, a coordinating laundry utility room was also designed, continuing the same practical approach and ensuring the home functions smoothly beyond the main living space.
Green Shaker Kitchen in St Albans
-
The cabinetry is by Omega and features traditional Shaker styling finished in Forest Green for the main kitchen. Timber accents and exposed wine storage add texture and interest, enhancing the kitchen’s homely charm.
Worktops are 30mm Fusion White quartz, offering a refined contrast to the deeper cabinet colours while providing a durable surface suited to busy family life.
Appliances are by Siemens, chosen for their reliability and seamless integration. A Blanco sink paired with a Quooker tap adds modern convenience while blending effortlessly into the classic design scheme.
A dedicated breakfast unit and generously sized larder units provide excellent storage, helping maintain a clean and organised open-plan layout. The same Shaker cabinetry continues into the utility and boot room, finished in Sage Green for a softer, complementary tone. This creates a cohesive look across the adjoining spaces while keeping each area practical and well-defined.
Designed by Shaun Lenane, this project has been entered for an industry award in recognition of its balance of craftsmanship, functionality and timeless style.

A brochure can only tell you so much. In the showroom you can stand a handleless Nobilia kitchen next to a classic British shaker, test the soft-close drawers, and see how a Bora hob or a Quooker tap behaves in a real run of units. Most people leave with a much clearer idea of what suits their home.
