How we are using our downtime

Like many of us, I’d been promising myself some downtime for a while now. But this wasn’t quite how I imagined it.

It’s safe to say - It’s been a strange week for everyone. But as they say, ‘it is what it is’ and I’ve pledged to myself to use this time wisely.

I’m still working, busy creating designs and drawing up quotes and I’m spending quality time with the family. Suddenly, we’ve all been thrown together for the foreseeable future and establishing our ‘new normal’. Gathering in the kitchen to cook, chat, eat, work and play.

I’ve got a bit more time on my hands, so I’m starting to get things done in my house, and it’s become clear to me that many of you are doing exactly the same. I’m looking around the place, weighing up how I could use my space better, and starting to understand what that looks like.

I’ve come to realise that I’ve been making do a lot longer than I realised, and I’m not alone. As a family, you’ve outgrown your current space, your taste has changed, or you’ve been far too busy to give it a second thought until now.

Because of this, the team and I are still working remotely from our homes all week long. Keeping your questions answered, putting designs together and drafting up quotes.

So, if like the email I got this morning, you’re considering swapping this years Caribbean cruise for a new kitchen or even if you just want a chat - get in touch.

Stay safe!
