Kitchen Zones - Where Everything has its Place

Open-plan kitchen design isn't particularly new.

But since the pandemic hit, we've completely overhauled our daily routines, which has had even more impact on the way we live and use our homes.

More than ever, we're uniting at home with extended family, taking pleasure in the intimate dinners, wine with friends, and tapas with the neighbours.

At the same time, we've needed spaces that work flexibly as a workspace, too.

So, whilst we all still crave 'open plan,' we've got additional requirements now, too.

Enter…. Zoned Living.

A space where the family can unite and socialise at certain times, but also have separate areas designated to other tasks and undertakings.

Examples might be:

-        Somewhere to perch with your laptop to fire off a few emails (the island seating)

-        A place to lounge with a friend for a coffee (the sofa)

-        An area for the kids to spread out with their homework (the dining table)

Here's a recent project in Chiswell Green that showcases this to perfection:

Importance of Kitchen Spaces

This kitchen is a real people-pleaser. Its modern and stylish handleless range in matt satin grey is timeless when teamed with versatile white calacatta quartz worktops. It sets a background to the room that can be continuously updated as the room décor changes – a real investment!

It's equipped with an abundance of worktop space, a focal island, Siemens double ovens, a wine fridge, a Bora downdraft hob, and a hot water Quooker tap. In addition, there's no shortage of seating, both at the dinner table and the kitchen island.

This new and improved version of open-plan living proves to enhance the bond between family members whilst also giving them the space they need to focus on other things. The result is a kitchen that will serve you as your needs evolve over the years.
