Discover The Story Of How Audus Kitchens Was Born

In our latest blog, we wanted to share the story behind Audus Kitchens and how what started as a dream became the multi-showroom success it is today.

The journey began with a shared vision that has evolved into a beacon of excellence in kitchen design and installation.

Fifteen years ago, the seeds of Audus Kitchens were sown when Graham Audus and John Lindsey crossed paths.

John, who was working at the time as a designer and project manager for a kitchen company, coupled with Graham’s expertise in running a kitchen installation business, employing 20 kitchen fitters to fit kitchens for various kitchen companies, set the stage for a collaboration that was rooted in a deep understanding of both design and installation.

From the very beginning, we had a mutual goal: to establish our own showroom where we could showcase our vision of designing, selling, and installing kitchens to the highest standards of design, service and quality.

Our complementary insights fuelled this shared aim: Graham’s perspective on design flaws from an installer’s point of view and John's understanding of the gaps in installation from a designer’s standpoint. It was the perfect business match.

Together, we honed our skills over a couple of years by managing a kitchen installation business, primarily serving housing developers. Fifteen years ago, we took the plunge and meticulously planned the launch of our first showroom in Wokingham.

Our diverse experience with various kitchen  manufacturers  and brands allowed us to carefully select suppliers who matched our high standards of quality and affordability.

The showroom went from strength to strength, and our expertise and passion for all things kitchens accelerated. We mastered our step-by-step process here and named it ‘The Audus Approach’.

After six years, we expanded our customer base and opened a showroom in St Albans.

Our growth has been a testament to our dedication and service. We have built an exceptional team of kitchen professionals, including designers, project managers, admin staff, customer care specialists, and kitchen installers, all sharing our passion and ethos for ‘The Audus Approach’.

Last month, we were lucky to expand again, opening our third showroom in the picturesque Lavershot Barns in Windlesham.

We pride ourselves on our journey, and we believe the sky is the limit with the right people behind us.

If you haven’t visited one of our showrooms yet, we welcome you to pay us a visit and see what sets Audus apart for yourself.
