A Black Kitchen Two Ways

As stunning as a white, blue or green kitchen may be, there's something to be said for a look that's a little moodier.

Whether you're going for a mysterious vibe or just want to add a bit of modern edge to your space, a black kitchen can make quite the statement.

If you're considering going dark with your kitchen, here are two ways to do it right.

Modern Minimalist

We can't get enough of this sleek, contemporary black kitchen. Not for the faint-hearted, the key to nailing this striking design is to keep lines clean and simple.

With a modern and stylish interior that's been beautifully designed to flow seamlessly, this kitchen has become the brand-new centrepiece of our client's home. It commands attention in a way that’s difficult to achieve with any other colour.

This kitchen style not only looks beautiful but is practical too. With its anti-fingerprint technology, it’s the perfect choice for families with young kids.

The island is also in black, making a statement in the middle of the kitchen space. The island is also perfect for entertaining guests whilst getting on with prepping a meal at the same time.

Edgy Scandinavian Black Kitchen

Love the idea of black, but nervous about using it everywhere? This style could be for you!

This Scandi-style kitchen, using accents of black and graphite grey, is the perfect choice when you want to create a chic, dark space that's also warm and inviting. This particular project combined black and grey with natural elements to create a modern and cosy space.

Using predominantly matt graphite for the shelves and cabinets, this combination produced a truly unique look that was both bold and homely. Both greenery and wooden accents soften the look and offer a contrast against the dark colours.

We used white quartz worktops to add lightness and elegance to the space. We matched the colour of the appliances with the dark colour palette, so everything seemed cohesive despite its variety of textures.

There you have it! Two different ways to achieve a beautiful black kitchen. Whether you prefer a modern and minimalist look or something a bit more natural, it is sure to make a statement in your home.
